D25: The Victory of Victory

Same as:

  • The perseverance of endurance
  • The determination aspect of intentions
  • The ‘drive’ behind our motives

The level of determination we have is in our own hands. The only thing that stops us is our own self-doubts, really. The fact is, we were born to be winners!

Our drive to press on, even in circumstances that would have us buckle under pressure, is a testimony to the courage humans truly have.

God gave humans the capacity to endure great tragedies, even when hope seems lost. We can handle a great deal more than we sometimes believe. We can cry and still be strong, we can be angry at injustice and still show compassion. We are indeed fearfully and wonderfully made.

We might not want to endure some things, but the rewards for doing so usually provides positive building blocks to help others with.

Ask yourself:

  • What stops me from going the distance?
    • Am I too complacent with my goals?
    • Do I have too many goals?
    • Do I change goals without finishing the last goal?
  • Do I have fears about starting somethings new?
    • Is a past hurt stopping me from my dreams and aspirations?
    • Am I worried about what my peers might think?
    • If I fear failure, will I allow myself to, at the very least, try?
  • Are my goals well defined or blurry and obscure? (not sure why you’re doing what you’re doing or at a loss of having a specific goal.)
  • Do I manage my time proportionately? Or, do I put too many things in the

Challenge:

Reflect on your focus today. If you’re able, time manage the entire day. Try and schedule everything, even adding in spending time with your family.

This evening, reflect on the priorities you chose and the ‘to do’s’ that didn’t get done.

Victory heals Victory

 Love those ‘duh’ looks…ha!
