- The integrity aspect of position
- The disciplines in humility
- The value of gratitude
Humility drives the behaviors concerning our judgement: aggressive, regressive, passive, etc.
Truth and knowledge, our values, define our gratitudes. Who we thank and who we rebuke is tied to this character.
Excessive humility, also known as false humility, is evident in behavior that cowers inappropriately. It ‘turns a blind eye’. It invariably submits to defeat through the misconceptions of being lowly and weak.
- How modest am I?
- How strong am I?
- How grateful am I?
- During confrontations, do I show respect? To myself? To others?
Challenge: Evaluate the strengths (truths, standards and judgments) in your humility.
