Luke 8:15 “But that [seed that fell]on the good ground are they, which in an honest and good heart, having heard the word, keep it, and bring forth fruit with patience.”
Honest love is best displayed this way: through fairness, truthfulness, thoughtfulness, submissiveness (to honest matters) always obedient to patient kindness, and never ceasing in consideration of others before self.
Truthful Love does not have to state its case. If love causes exhilaration, anxiousness, or a ‘racing heart’, that is not honest love, that is something else.
Love’s judgement is based on life experiences. If truth has been developed in abusive environments, replacing lies with truth takes a little bit of time, but can be accomplished and well worth it.
Ask yourself if your love is strong and honest with yourself? With others? Is it disciplined when it needs to be? Is it fair in judgments?
Today: Love Strong: Don’t be obnoxious, just express a strong attitude in love today: authentically kind. It doesn’t matter how the other person is behaving, be honest in your kindness towards them.
