Tuesday
(Philippians 4:7-8 KJV) And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.
Meaning: discipline your mind to dwell on truth, honesty, righteousness, pureness and on things that are good and lovely.
Truth that is strong in honesty and judgment embraces accountability and welcomes disciplines.
Disciplines in integrity not only include practices in speaking the truth to others, but also being honest with yourself.
Three habits to break:
- Lying to God (impossible, it’s crazy that we still try)
- Lying to yourself
- Lying to others
NO lies today… not even teeny tiny ones. Keep your mouth closed if you are faced with a moment you might lie.
