Mark 6:34 (TPT) By the time Jesus came ashore, a massive crowd was waiting. At the sight of them, his heart was filled with compassion, because they seemed like wandering sheep who had no shepherd. So He taught them many things.
Genuine beauty comes from within a human’s spirit and is radiated in the expressions of compassion for others.
The love attribute of compassion is found in behaviors that express mercy, pity, sympathy and genuine concern.
Things to ask yourself: When I see someone in need, what is my normal reaction? What prevents me from actually helping others? Are my reasons for not helping valid?
Today, make an attempt to do a kindness for a stranger. No limits on what you can do. While staying safe, evaluate your behaviors and/or expressions. Are you selective in who you help? Why?
