Proverbs 20:29 (KJV) The glory of young men is their strength: and the beauty of old men is their gray head.
In the original design, our appearance was determined by function, not feature. Part of those functions include the ability to be caring individuals.
When our Creator in Heaven sees us, our splendor is measured by how we use our abilities in the compassion, mercy and grace we give to others.
When approaching this attribute, look at it as your abilities in compassion.
Ask questions like: Do I help others out of duty? Or, may be out of guilt. Do I have too much compassion? Do I have enough compassion? is my compassion a tool to get what I want?
Today: Be mindful of where you draw your compassion, mercy and grace from.
Thank you very much.
Great post 🙂
