25/49: Victory in Perseverance

John 17:3-4 (ESV)  And this is eternal life, that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom you have sent.  (4)  I glorified you on earth, having accomplished the work that you gave me to do.

Finishing any challenge, task, goal, or journey, requires well defined intentions. Without it there is no real reason to ‘do anything’ or ‘go anywhere’.

Too many goals confuse purpose. Not enough hinders the development of mental endurance.

To judge how victorious your perseverance is, ask yourself things like this: Do I stick with what I say I’m going to do? Am I setting myself up for failure by putting too many things on my to-do list ? Do I follow requests as requested or do I insist I do it my way?

Today: micro manage your time and check yourself on how well you complete today’s to do list. Be sure to make every moment count!
