37/49: Truthful Bonds

Matthew 7:1-2 (TPT)  “Refuse to be a critic full of bias toward others, and judgment will not be passed on you. (2)  For you’ll be judged by the same standard that you’ve used to judge others. The measurement you use on them will be used on you.”

Very important to tell yourself:

Every truthful relationship I will ever have starts with me being truthful to me about me first. My truthfulness about myself allows me to place standards on others that are measured fairly.

Ask things like: How truthful am I about myself? If I ask God what my truth is about His and my relationship, what would He say? Also – ask: Are my expectations of others realistic, or valid? How honest am I in relationships?

Today: Assess how you judge others? Are your standards fair?
