40/49: Humility in Relationships

John 13:12-16 (TPT)  After washing their feet, he put his robe on and returned to his place at the table. “Do you understand what I just did?” Jesus said.  (13)  “You’ve called me your teacher and lord, and you’re right, for that’s who I am.  (14)  (14-15) So if I’m your teacher and lord and have just washed your dirty feet, then you should follow the example that I’ve set for you and wash one another’s dirty feet. Now do for each other what I have just done for you.  (16)  I speak to you timeless truth: a servant is not superior to his master, and an apostle is never greater than the one who sent him.

Today is about: ‘the many levels of relationships’. Where we place God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit predetermines where we place ourselves and others in all relationships.

Connections that are solid are grounded by the conductive force of humility that comes from God.

Since humility is a ‘well positioned purpose‘, in relationships, it determines if we let people into our spaces/places or not with its focus on where we place ourselves in their lives. The true nature of this character is expressed intensely in our closest relationships.

Ask- Where do I position God in my life? Where do I position myself with God? Do I allow God to determine my position in Him? – Also, ask the first two questions about yourself as well as family, friends, strangers, etc.

Today – Be receptive to the living power that flows from above. Allow your heart to receive ‘now’ connections to The One who truly positions you to do great things!
